A Song Trip Though Memory Lane: How to Know When You Need a Private Investigator

The long and winding road can lead us to locating a missing person or heir.  Verifying their identity prevents us from hearing, it’ ain’t me babe, so you know when you receive our results, you have a ticket to ride straight to court or close a trust, then you can lay back and drink a beer.

I heard it through the grapevine that some people run to the hills to avoid the process of service, even a smooth criminal can’t escape the real world.   We will locate them, serve them legal documents, create an affidavit of service and justice for all.  Not all locates require serving legal documents, some searches are for lost loves, not all people are found by chasing pavements or by a [...]

How to Find a Witness, Heir, Client, Family Member, Friend or Lost Love

How to Find a Witness, Heir, Client, Family Member, Friend or Lost Love

There are basically two types of locates behind the various reasons to request them:

1) An attorney who needs to find a witness for a case, an heir to an estate or their own Client.  How does an Attorney lose contact with a Client?  Civil and Criminal cases can take months or even years for a court date and it is the responsibility of the Attorney’s Client to provide current contact information.  If that doesn’t happen and a court date is set the Attorney needs his Client to be notified and with outdated information, that isn’t possible.

2) Personal locates to search for a family member, friend or a lost love.  Lost loves are the most difficult locates, especially when the person being searched is a [...]

Rectifying a Huge Back Child Support Issue

Marsha called us one morning stating she needed to hire a private investigator. Ralph, her ex-husband and irresponsible father of her four children, owed over $30,000 in back child support.   The court awarded her $75.00 per week support for each of her four children but that was 11 years ago.  Just about the same time Ralph disappeared.   Marsha worked two jobs but she did have the help of her family for emotional support.

Every year Marsha contacted her County Prosecutor’s office to see if they had located Ralph.   She was always told they “were still looking”.   They supposedly were coordinating with the Internal Revenue Service in case he had a tax return that could be garnished, but to no avail.   They had posted on several States’ [...]

Mrs. Merrick’s Missing Heirs

Mrs. Merrick’s attorney had a problem. She needed to find two missing heirs but had little to go on; only names with no other identifying information. Mrs. Merrick set up a living trust twenty years before her death, but never updated it, making this heir search more difficult. She left her large estate to Mary Danielson and Mitchell Roberts or their heirs. That was it; no additional information as to her relationship with Mary and Mitchell, or their ages or location. The attorney’s firm was the trustee because Mrs. Merrick’s father had dealings with the firm in years past, but no one at the firm knew anything about her other than the fact that she was a widow and had no children.

Before publishing notices [...]

Free Will or Foul Play?

Twenty-year-old Sean Purcell lived in the basement of his parents’ home. His living area had its own entrance. With school and work, it wasn’t unusual for his parents not to see him every day. He also wasn’t known for returning texts or phone calls speedily, so the Purcell’s weren’t too concerned when they didn’t see him for a couple of days. They didn’t get worried until Mrs. Purcell realized their son wasn’t raiding the pantry or the refrigerator.

She immediately checked the basement. The first thing she noticed was Sean’s cell phone lying on the bed. The home screen showed some missed calls and texts from his on again - off again girlfriend Kayla. Mrs. Purcell didn’t know the password to get into the phone [...]

One Call Away From the Truth

It isn’t easy to pick up a phone and call an Investigative Company.  What do you say, how do you say it, will you be able to express your thoughts and feelings to someone you don’t know?  Is that gut feeling just a passing thought that has taken on too much of itself or is there just enough truth in it to make that call?

Believe me; Investigators all across America have heard just about every conceivable story told by their Clients.  A scenario involving a spouse, an ex-spouse, a friend, lover, family member, co-worker, boss, neighbor and even an unknown!  We have worked every type of case before and have a strategy that can assist us in obtaining factual results.  There isn’t a life [...]
